TubeMate app review: should you use this YouTube video downloader?
I recently decided I wanted to download some of my favorite YouTube videos, but the YouTube video downloader app I used to use no longer works. That is when I went in search of a newer download app and discovered TubeMate.
Not only did I download the app as soon as I read all about the features it came with, I have now been using it for several weeks and would never use anything else. Here are just a few reasons why.
Easy to download and install — Before I downloaded and installed TubeMate app, I tried a couple of other YouTube video apps.
With these, though, downloading too time, installation was complicated and cumbersome and, once installed, I would have needed an IT degree to figure out how to use them. Needless to say, I uninstalled them within minutes of trying them out.
With TubeMate, however, it was easy to download, even easier to install and from clicking on the download link to being up and running and downloading YouTube videos literally took less than five minutes.
TubeMate conserves space — I was looking for a YouTube video download program that was not going to take up a huge amount of space on my tablet and phone.
TubeMate is a small program so is not a space hog, yet is still does everything I needed a YouTube video download program to do and more.
Downloading videos with TubeMate — Downloading videos with TubeMate could not be easier, and is why I recommend it to so many friends.
All you do to download the video you like is to navigate to that video’s YouTube page via TubeMate.
Once there, you will see a download button below the video. Click on it and choose the resolution you wish to have your video downloaded in. The TubeMate app then goes ahead and begins the download.
As most downloads only take a couple of minutes to complete, it does not take up a lot of your time either.
Downloading more than one video — Some YouTube video download apps allow you to only download one video at a time. If you are downloading a TV series or more than one music video from your favorite artist, this can end up taking up your whole evening as you wait for one video to finish downloading so you can start another.
With TubeMate, however, you can download as many videos as you want all at the same time. Just navigate to the YouTube page of each video and click on the download link. TubeMate then puts each video download into a queue, and begins to download all of them all at the same time.
If your Internet gets cut off, as soon as you are reconnected to the Internet TubeMate will begin all your downloads again right at the point where they stopped downloading.
As TubeMate is also free, you really could not ask for a better YouTube video downloader. I use mine all the time.
